Our Commitment to the Environment
Navetta is committed to designing and crafting innovative learning environments, while always using materials and processes that respect and protect the environment. We are also able to offer versions of many of our products with specialized environmental certifications, including Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), NAUF, CARB, and Greenguard.
The materials used to construct durable Navetta furniture include wood products made from 100% recycled and recovered wood fiber; structural components and hardware of recyclable steel, stainless steel, and aluminum; and recyclable injection-molded plastic components. We take extra steps during our design and manufacturing processes to minimize waste of each material. Metal parts are robotically cut, formed, and welded to reduce waste. Durable powder coat metal finishes vastly reduce harmful emissions compared to conventional painting or electroplating processes. Our internal packaging process uses recyclable paper honeycomb material instead of polystyrene foam wherever possible.
